What am I going to do without Tim Russert?

Seriously.  No one will ever replace that brilliant, pudgy little newsman in my affections.  This election is going to be so much less fun without him; I'm broken hearted.

Requiescat in pace, my little political guru.  You're the only reason I continued to watch the first 1/2 hour of the Today Show.  I'm going to miss you.

Amen. I was shocked and saddened as well.

The only consolation is that at least he wrote his book about his Dad, and left the world having said The Big Things to those that matter.

In the tributes, I have learned (a) that he was a role model on working hard and yet taking care of his people and (b) that his interviewing style on Meet the Press was derived from a courtroom. I knew he was a lawyer but I never realized the connection of a legal settings and his use of a guest's previous writings/quotes.

He will certainly be missed.

A fitting tribute today on Sunday morning! It was heavy to see the empty moderator chair at the table. also, all the clips of the past

I enjoyed everyone's stories though I wish Brokaw could drop the Voice of God sometimes.

Hello there
